you should i think, as the author said, in most peoples’ minds it’s inseparably entangled with the idea of suicide, which has negative connotations associated with it, preventing a topic from being discussed rationally, plus he puts a positive spin on it at the end
i often have such thoughts myself, and coming as close as possible to it by getting incredibly sad by watching videos like this or whoheartedly reading the dictionary of obscure sorrows and trying to think of nothing and experience pure sadness helps me realise the worth and the value of existing beyond the traditional reasonings used, primarily associated with discouraging people from suicide
