I tested the new Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W to see how it compares to previous Raspberry Pi boards. I also started experimenting with Blinka, the CircuitPython compatibility layer for Linux., Benchmark results on GitHub: https://github.com/BlitzCityDIY/piZero2W-releaseBenchmarks, Local Organizations to Support Reproductive Rights in Texas:

I used a Pi Zero W hooked up to a 20,000mAh USB battery as a Kiwix hotspot, containing Wikipedia (English, all maxi weighting 83GB) while commuting to work using public transportation. I never expected anyone to use it (and I never checked if anyone used it), but I thought it was cool to be a free-to-use roaming Wikipedia anyone could use over WiFi. I was thinking of deploying a PirateBox with content people could grab from the hotspot, but the project was dropped and I’m not motivated enough to take over the whole project myself.
I’m not sure yet what to do with my Pi Zero 2 W though, but I still acquired one.
