Agreed, most people do enjoy labour when own the means of production. Basically everyone’s hobbies demonstrate this: People garden, or knit/other stitch work, produce art and all sorts of other things; for example I enjoy woodworking… People use their free time to create and work for themselves.
The problem is not work, but the conditions under which we are working. Like Marx says, under capitalism the worker is alienated from his labor.
