How good is the experience of running postmarketOS the regular Pine64 SOPINE module with the carrier board and the official touchscreen attachment? It has the same processor as the PinePhone, so can I expect a similar level of performance, and will things like the touchscreen work plug and play?

But on the other hand: battery = build-in UPS ;)

Eh, I don’t really need a UPS since I won’t be serving anything mission critical. Instead, a battery would not be a good idea in my plan of “mostly a server, occasionally a testbed for Linux mobile”, because it would fail very quickly due to being charged constantly, and might even puff up and become dangerous.

I also don’t need a modem since it won’t be used as an actual phone, so I’d rather not have one in there.

Lastly, and this is largely superficial, I really like the idea of interchangeable compute modules, so I kind of just want a SOPINE to play around with.
