    Not being able to dine after 10pm is dystopian to everyone living south of the alps

      Lol, where I come from it’s the exact opposite, my grandparents would say if you haven’t had dinner by 6pm you should just skip it and eat more at breakfast tomorrow instead. For some reason they were convinced it is extremely unhealthy and bad for your sleep and digestion to eat late. And sometimes when i feel really bad in the morning after i compulsively snacked late last night i kinda think they had a point…

        The whole “don’t eat too late because it’s bad for your digestion” is actually a sentiment I grew up with and still make it a habit to this day, kinda. I will eat a full meal after six if I need to but never after 8:30. It sounds weird but I did hear a lot about sleeping slowing down digestions or something. Maybe it’s bullshit and you can eat how ever much at any time at any stage of wakefulness but I hate risking that kind of stuff.
