    If there is a new pandemic, it’s going to be an utter disasters. Nobody is going to take any measures at this point.

      I’ve been wondering since 2020 whether it was the beginning of a new paradigm. With increased global urban density as well as global connectivity (the number of passenger flights is insane from an epidemiology perspective) while close contact between humans and animals remains highly prevalent (farming etc), there could be a state change for the coming century in terms of how many novel viruses go pandemic.

        Yeah that’s very possible, another huge factor is factory farming. Animals are kept in very poor conditions and in high density while being pumped full of antibiotics. These are breeding reactors for new diseases that are antibiotic resistant.
