If it’s in a US court, good luck is all I’m going to say.

I doubt the US would let one of their own (and a great propaganda machine at that) be under litigation by a foreign court though.

I’m sure they bear no delusions of bringing him to actual justice. Maybe Zenz issues an apology or retraction but chances of them are next to none. At least this will bring to light the irritation of people of Xinjiang in the consciousness of the international public. I have been seeing TikToks of Uyghur people shitting on Pompeo so this could be a continuation of that.

I feel like Western propaganda is going to turn this into “look how the CCP is forcing Xinjiang citizens to lie that nothing is happening!” Like, tons of people already fully don’t believe the many Xinjiang testimonials that everything’s fine, and the candid shots of Uyghur life, “because they’re obviously paid off or forced to act like nothing is happening!”

Meanwhile there’s no concrete proof other than testimonials, many of which have been shown to be outright fake and at least one made by a CIA operative. No videos other than a drone shot of a generic prison whose inmates could be there for any reason, including actual crimes.
