    I love all the insinuations that there is a lot of quiet dissent in Russia without ever substantiating this claim. The mask fell off when the hysteria in the west started and everybody saw what the west really thinks of Russians. Everybody with a functioning brain in Russia understands why this war happened and why Russia must prevail in it.

      I’d argue there’s plenty of quiet dissent in Russia, but not for the reasons the author implies. It’s mostly stuff like infrastructure and corruption that gets people frustrated. Ya know, just like every other capitalist country

        The kind of dissent you actually want where people demand better conditions. Hopefully, it’s the kind that moves Russia back towards communism one day.
