I mean people can desperate without wanting revolution also America is still trending toward fascism

    • Corporate America and boomer/baby boomer comprising classes, yes. The younger and conscious millenials and the upcoming zoomer generation are far more radicalised than you think.

America will probably have 2 different countries if they do have a revolution one a liberal democracy run by fascists and one communists like what happened after nazi Germany

        • Who knows, all I know is it will happen. A revolution is damn close, and the results a little hard to determine. Bernie was once a friend of Parenti, and Parenti broke him off because former expressed support for bombing of Yugoslavia. Most “lefties” in USA think more along Bernie lines than even Chomsky, let alone any half decent communist.

Hopefully some of them more radical And realize electoralism doesn’t work

      • They’re becoming “radicalized” into social democracy.

The vast majority of these “socialists” in the West are just New Deal types, liberals painted with a coat of red— they want imperialism to continue benefitting them in the way it did throughout the late 20th century, or the way it benefits the Nordic countries.

        • It is not ideal but far better than neoliberalism or fascism, but even at that point they will have a long road ahead of them. Socdem has similar weakness to non-warmongering liberalism.
