You misunderstood my point regarding timing. Wikileaks was releasing leaks to counteract press hits against Wikileaks, not press leaks against Trump. I don’t have a source on this one in particular, but it was brought up by Julian Assange in a live stream way back when the leaks were happening.
I was talking about the Podesta leak specially. It was released within hours of the Access Hollywood tapes. I don’t get what Wikileaks would have even dropped to counteract press hits.
