minus-square@Slatlunlink2•2 years agoI know you’re just kidding, but it is interesting to think about how truly successful the chili has been. We’ve moved them around the world and bred tons of variety into them. It could be that chilis co-evolved with humans to our mutual benefit.
Ask those capsaicin-producing plants about how well their “don’t want to be eaten by mamals”-poison worked out in the end!
