That’s what I don’t understand!! Like, I get not being happy she died. A lot of people know little to nothing about the monarchy, and for some reason don’t find its very existence to be inherently distasteful. So just not caring…that makes sense to me.

But why in the sweet goddess’s green earth would you be sad about this??? You never met her! She gave literally nothing to your life. She lived an entire century! She was rich as shit! Her sons are very notoriously monsters. That should be enough for you to just… not say anything at all. What loss could you actually be feeling? (And I refuse to believe it’s just the blanket “it’s sad when anyone dies” kind of sadness, because people die literally every day without any of these outpourings of nonsense)

Preach!! It’s pisses me off so much like what the fuck are you sad about? Stupid propagandised morons.

Yet again Britain proves ourselves to be consumste idiots.

“Oh aren’t the British quaint” no, we are some of the dumbest most propagandised and chauvinistic clowns on this planet.

I’ve even tried to articulate this to friends and it’s like “she brings money into the country” and not amount of evidence that she doesn’t will sway them. Clowns the lot.

The only thing more cringe than the way the British are acting is the fact the Canadians and Americans are now jumping on the band wagon like the morons they are. Canadians have a loose connection I guess which is still ridiculous but I’ve seen too many Americans trying to join in and it’s like are you for real?

Parasocial relationships are deeply unhealthy at the best of times. The queen was a ‘twitch personality’ before such things existed.
