Ukraine’s state-run energy operator warned Saturday that “there are risks of hydrogen leakage and sputtering of radioactive substances” from the country’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as shelling in the Russian-occupied area continues, despite international pleas for a ceasefire.

“As a result of periodic shelling, the infrastructure of the station has been damaged,” Energoatom said in a statement, cautioning that “the fire hazard is high” and that the plant “operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety standards.”

I know what capturing territory means that’s why I know you’re the one spewing bullshit here. Capturing territory means you take territory with the intent of keeping it. This is demonstrably not what Russia did around Kiev as they made no attempt to keep the territory, and did not send enough troops to do that.

That’s why it’s a fixing operation. They sent enough troops to force Ukraine to hold their troops in place, and then the Russian troops simply left when operations in Donbas were complete.

The fact that you can’t wrap your head around this is simply hilarious.

It’s one thing to be ignorant about something initially, it’s quite another to just keep doubling down when you’ve been explained why your initial understanding was wrong. You are an absolute imbecile.

Oh right, they definitely wanted to keep Kiev with 40k troops, which is what they deployed to take Mariupol which is a city that’s an order of magnitude smaller. Thanks for once again confirming you have absolutely no clue on the subject. LOL indeed.

So, Russian military knows they need a three to one advantage to take Mariupol, but they forget how to do math in Kiev. Gotcha!

Once again, learn what a fixing operation is ignoramus. Hilarious how you accuse me of doing the twisting here while pretending that Russia was trying to take Kiev.

Nah, I’m not twisting anything. I’m explaining very clearly that Russian never meant to hold that territory because if they did then they’d put a lot more troops there. Meanwhile, what you’re trying to claim is that Russia lost a lot of territory in Ukraine which it never actually held.
