To celebrate August 24 Vladimir Zelensky took to Instagram to upload a series of portraits of commanders born in post-Soviet Ukraine.

Unsurprisingly one serviceman’s image, alongside his full name and credentials, was pictured wearing a Nazi insignia of the 14th Waffen-SS Grenadier Division.

That unit of the SS recruited primarily Ukrainian collaborators, and has been accused of committing several massacres in Poland.

What you deny that there are ties between these groups and the regime US put in, and that far right and fascists have a huge amount of influence in Ukrainian politics. You keep trying to avoid acknowledging that by nitpicking at the original article, and wasting my time instead of googling it yourself. It’s a common troll tactic to try and derail the discussion away from the main point and towards some irrelevant minutia.

It’s absolutely a troll tactic to focus on something you couldn’t find and then ask other people to waste their time digging up for you when it bears no impact on the overall argument. If you admit that Ukrainian regime has direct ties to nazi groups and these groups shape policy in Ukraine then your support for this regime is direct support for nazis. IT’s that simple.

I’m going to stop replying here because my experience is that you always have to have the last word, so enjoy.
