The thing they never answered is, what the hell can I do with the avatar? Reddit is a forum. Not a goddamn MOBA with skins and shit, and I’d much rather upload my own profile pic than use one of Reddit’s canned profiles.
Even then, I’d rather upload my own profile pic. Be it a picture of myself (bad idea on Reddit tho), my pet, an object I like (a circuit board for example), or a meme, etc. It’s more personal to me, and it’s also free.
