Ukrainian military is performing missile strikes in Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. This action is endorsed by head of Ukrainian Energoatom.
That’s right, they’re trying to deliberately make explode a cache of nuclear waste.
What possible reason could they have for doing that? The only thing I can think of is a false flag operation, but they wouldn’t have announced it in that case
Denying the Russian military the assets, I would guess. With extra benefits of poisoning thousands and blaming it on Russia.
Otherwise I have no idea. What was the reason for using tactical missiles on civilian centers? Or spreading anti-personell mines in civilian areas?
Of course, it could very well just be Nazis being Nazis
Apparently the Russians only disconnected the plant from the (Western) Ukrainian grid and connected it to their Southern one a short while ago. So I guess for the UAF the rationale is somewhere between forcing the plant to reconnect and nuclear poisoning a bunch of “orcs”.
