iirc it takes 9 months to birth a human on average. So someone could say abortion should be allowed at 8.9 month and someone can also say just 1 week.

I’m waiting for someone to say abortion should be allowed at 8.9 months cause i want to hear the reasoning.

Here’s my hot take: (ib4 ban) we should develop tech like artificial uteruses and just move unwanted baby/fetus/idk-the-terminology into these instead BUT we should also have a comprehensive social welfare program to raise ALL children/humans, and not conservative welfare where it’s like 1 mother figure taking care of 6 children with food stamps.

Given what i know about 2022 technology: if conservatives gave a hoot about child/fetus welfare, they’re have comprehensive social welfare programs, which would reduce the number of abortions bc at least the mother figure won’t be #rekt financially by have 6 kids.

It shouldn’t be allowed for any random irresponsible thot to use as plan C birth control. Countries like Barbados have it right. A victim of rape or a problematic pregnancy that endangers the mother, they allow abortions. Just some irresponsible GOer who sleeps around and doesn’t want to be responsible for the consequences of her actions shouldn’t be allowed one. Abortions should be applied for an handled on a case by case basis. The US culture is toxic and sick. You shouldn’t be able to just stroll in and suck a baby out because you don’t want to be responsible for the life you made. Again, rape and dangerous pregnancies? Yeah absolutely. Everything else, get responsible and learn accountability. get on one of the 500 BC methods.

Plan C? It turns out condom and birth control pills are less effective than I think you assume. Unwanted pregnancy can happened to “responsible” people.

As to sleeping around being the problem - you know that it is possible to have frequent sex with a monogamous partner and still not want children, right?

500 BC methods - are you talking about the chemical abortions that were common using specific plants across cultures, or are you pretending modern birth control methods haven’t evolved in 2500 years (similar to your views on who controls other people’s uteruses)?
