Don’t remember the source, but a saw once that lead poisoning is an extremely effective way to dumb down a population. It’s also been linked to increases in violence.
Americans are conditioned into thinking they are heroic by default, that they were the primary reason Hitler was defeated, and that every US opponent therefore is literally Hitler 2.0. So much of the naive pathology of Americans is directly because of how the education system here teaches about WW2 from an early age.
Why are Yanks like this?
Bad education, bad culture, lead poisoning in many cases, probably other environmental factors we don’t know about yet.
