I listen to probably a majority of communist songs though I really like Lyubeh (related to the soviet union but not communist), IU, Gfriend, TWICE, (don’t fucking judge me) miscellaneous klezmer bands, recently teresa teng, as well as various video game osts. (persona 4. yokai watch, etc.)
I am lately super into New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal (nwothm), specially Riot City, Blackened Death Metal like The Crown(the album Venom Speed Cobra is [chef’s kiss]), retro/synth wave, some good ol’Judas Priest, Atmospheric Black Metal (Summoning is one of the best, and the composer/mixer/musician,whatever, it’s a one man band, like Mike Oldfield, is pretty leftist and antifascist, may even be a comrade), Susumu Hirasawa (Berserk OST, Paprika OST, Millennium Actress OST, MPD Psycho OST…) and some never out of fashion Grindcore.
I’m into most of this stuff. The Crown kicks ass. What synth wave do you like? My favorite is Carpenter Brut
Leather Teeth is the fucking best of Carpenter Brut! Olay, okay. When more pop retro/synth, I use to listen The Midnight (hear Crystaline, specially the instrumental version)
Also, try Master Root(or Boot?) Record, Black Metal +Chiptune. They have incredibly good covers of retro games ost, I specially love the TMNT
