a few days back, the libretro github was hacked. all their repos were overwritten, issues and PRs all closed, etc. github restored access to the owners, but said they were unable to fix any of the damage if you're using github, you need to have a backup of ***everything*** https://twitter.com/libretro/status/1295181352426516480

    Whenever I stumble upon a nice project, I instantly clone it into ~/sources and run a script to archive into a spare HD
