For all the media pomp over Blinken visiting Israel to bring about a peace deal, the proposition doesn't even include a permanent ceasefire

    Every peace starts with a ceasefire, maybe except complete surrender of one of the sides. Some ceasefires lasts decades, for example no peace was ever signed for Korean War making it de iure over 74 years and counting long.
