i don’t know if this would have anything to do with lemmy but it does show that a botnet is likely spreading through some german isp
this doesn’t even begin to make sense, the crime was so egregious that even folks like macron and darmanin have condemned it with full force, when they criticize a police action you know it really is that terrible
i’ve heard zorinos is designed to be similar to windows and has achieved acclaim in that regard, although i can’t say much else since i’ve never used it. i would say that it is definitely worth a look.

i just want to say thanks for making this a greasemonkey userscript and not a browser extension, now qutebrowser can come in clutch 🙏
french gov has been on a shitty law speed run recently, especially when it comes to cyber
I like using AdGuard DNS profile on iOS. I have been using it for years and it works great!
I also recommend Porkbun, I have been using them for years with no problems.
looks great fellow guix user! dwl-guile and dato-guile look very interesting, i may need to switch to wayland soon and try it out (i’m currently using xmonad).
Sorry to hear this, your personal health is always the most important thing. I hope you can find fun in your other projects and thank you for your hard work.
That would probably make more sense tbh, I just got this config the way it is while learning Haskell and haven’t felt the need to change it since.
qutebrowser really is great, I have tried all of the browser add-ons and other vim-like browsers but I always find myself coming back.
Thanks! I used xmonad because I was learning Haskell and thought it would be a good way to get some actual experience. This is my desktop which I use X due to nvidia issues with wayland but I actually just received a new laptop today and I have tried wayland on that.
UBlock Origin, Bitwarden, SurfingKeys
PC: qutebrowser (nice, quick, ad-block and good native keybinds)
iOS: Ecosia (fork of Firefox app that I think is better for my use considering I use Ecosia as my search engine)
No, but recently i’ve stopped using Google as well. Currently I mostly use Ecosia, I think their company philosophy is pretty cool and I like the results so far. I don’t think that ChatGPT works as a substitute for a search engine for my uses at least, as many of my searches require me to check multiple links and I don’t always type in the full natural language sentences necessary for ChatGPT.
I agree that v1 should be dropped, even if some instances haven’t upgraded, they should try and stay current with the standard, and dropping v1 does provide an incentive. I agree with the other comment that an alert about how your server doesn’t support v3 is good.
Update: This has been resolved thanks to Adam and the solution is as seen on his blog.
