I believe it’s based of activitypub like federated protocol. But doesn’t stop facebook from forking it to a point where its just as good as defederated. As much as i hate facebook; i would like for there being competition for twitter, so monopoly can be challenged!
I grew up in a tropical place, and cant imagine wearing full on clothes. The humidity means you are better of with breathable clothes and quick drying ones like cotton so you dont look like a sweaty pig after a while.

Yeah. I wish they really pushed the podcast narrative a bit further and putting some heat on them with cops trying to get closer to them. Instead the last few episodes sort of fizzled a bit on that. Perhaps second season could do that. Assuming it gets renewed.

I did not use Apollo. I used the alien blue / official Reddit app. It’s not the best Reddit client out out there. The thing that annoyed me the most is the toxic masculinity and the deterioration of subreddits in the last few months. I don’t know the challenges that mods face with regards to api changes, but the line for me is when spez talked about musk and twitter. I mean, I left twitter almost a month into acquisition as things got very toxic and inflamed. I have a suspicion Reddit will go into a slow death spiral with content being just reposts from tik tok(which was already happening).
At the end of the day, I find lemmy a bit more palatable for two reasons, it’s slow moving and there is quality content, and not just some staged videos from tik tok. If I wanted to see tik toks I’ll be in TikTok.
It’s weird. I haven’t been able to find Diet Coke anywhere in fast food restaurants recently including maccas. This is down under. I traveled to India recently and looks like Diet Coke is banned here. Are we all living under a strange rock?
This is so weird. Why does my body like all the carcinogens/harmful substances? 7D mangoes and sodium bisulphate and now Diet Coke with aspartame which is a carcinogen.
