I like making oatmeal bakes. It’s just rolled oats, mashed bananas, (pea) protein powder, sugar or sweetener, and baking powder, then into the oven. I’ll usually put blueberries or chocolate chips in it too, and chia seeds. It’s easy to make and only takes a minute to microwave a slice in the morning. Lots of fiber and protein, and it usually lasts me Monday to Friday.

When comparing between similar levels of economic development, socialism has always provided better quality of life than capitalism. I just think as revolutionaries and progressives that there is no point in idolizing a man who defends pedophilia and statutory rape. The FSF is good for FLOSS generally and we should support FLOSS as a form of resistance to corporate domination of our digital lives; there’s no need to place a creepy pest like RMS on a pedestal to do that though, nor feed into his ego as the true father of free software or whatever.

I just suppose that I don’t see the point in being so pedantic about including the name of one of many different components of the free software stack which can be used to make up a Linux-based operating system. I think most everybody thinks of the family of FOSS based operating systems when they hear Linux, and derivative projects like android are usually considered their own separate thing. The FSF is pretty well known by those who are familiar with Linux, and while they have made huge contributions to FLOSS there are some pretty nasty reactionary ideas that RMS specifically pushes that lead to plenty of us preferring not to directly associate, at least with him specifically.

I think the T480 is a great deal but be aware of the Thunderbolt firmware issues. It’s fixable if the firmware is not yet fully corrupted and if the firmware is up to date it shouldn’t be a problem, but I’m dealing with a dead thunderbolt chip on mine right now and it’s terrible
