The best thing is that there’s a poll to prove that this is what he users want, https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/14bjzd7/vote_now_choose_the_future_direction_of_riphone/
So if the Pigboy “considers voting mods out based on user votes”, then we know which way the votes will go.
PS. The r/iphone banner now reads “f*ck u/spez” on both sides, which is a nice touch.
I heard u/spez, the CEO, affectionately called Pigboy, moderated r/jailbait. Which upon research, is a now defunct sub that specialized in questionable images of questionable age that should have been illegal.
I could be wrong, but that is what I heard.
Wasn’t that illegal? Shouldn’t be be prosecuted?
This is why I love the Internet.
Done!
It’s fine to delete and rebuild.
As long as old comments are there people will land there. After Google indexes the deletion, people will land on Lemmy, and we can engage in providing up-to-date solutions.

All experienced mods are welcome. We value your contributions here.
Yes. Can’t access any new posts or comments.
I am not going to stand for this.
I didn’t come here into the fediverse to have instances dictate on their whim that I’ll not have access to something.
This goes completely against the idea of having an unified platform. You can of course do whatever you want, but I’ll not be part of a closed garden.
It’s confusing even for me. Do I get to see every post in every instance? Do I get to see all the comments? Do others get to see all of my posts irrespective of their instance? Can I see and interact with all users irrespective of their instance? Can I browse Lemmy if my instance is overloaded? If not, can I seamlessly move to a different instance?
Yeah this is great. Reddit was also formed like this before they lost their way. I love that lemmy is open source and… is it decentralized? Have to read. Either way I really like that this is yet a small community but the posts are smart and the comments are interesting. I think this will be great.
Lol but I think don’t reopen; for r/piracy it looks way better if the Pigboy CEO forces it to reopen return legitimate posts IMHO
