Reddit would be nothing without the users, just like any company would be worthless without their customers.
Reddit doesn’t create any content that people want to consume, people do. People create content for other people. All that Reddit does is to provide a platform for the content to be in. Yet people have the freedom and resources to provide that for themselves too if necessary, which is exactly what Lemmy and other platforms are doing.
Like many here, I use Adblockers to avoid malware and because ads are often too intrusive and use a lot of resources. I wouldn’t mind not using it if ads were displayed in a reasonable way and without turning your laptop into a space heater.
I do whitelist sites that I use somewhat frequently and that display ads in a reasonable way.

I guess it depends on your schedule as well. I plug it in when I wake up and by the time I’m done with my morning routine, it has more than enough charge to last me through the day, as I don’t use it much anyway.
This is exactly what I think and the reason why I don’t like the idea of split keyboards.
