i wonder what actually causes this, i assume it’s some weird file association thing where an installed game tells the OS “ah yes i can open .egg files” and by coincidence another program also uses a .egg extension for saving things

yea i use both, there’s many communites on reddit that just straight up dont exist here yet, not to mention that lemmy still has things to improve UX wise

i do hope lemmy grows though, i interact on here way more than on reddit especially after the protests

i’d assume that it’ll slowly get better overtime either through instances eventually syncing with each other or lemmy updating to improve the accuracy of federation

i find that the lack of community videos really holds me back from using lemmy as a primary website, but i do understand that video hosting is expensive, just kinda sucks
