I’m officially in my “late 30s” now and know people into their mid 40s. Everyone I know is still basically where we were 10-15 years ago, because retirement is increasingly a thing of the past. We can’t move up into higher pay/higher tier jobs because our parents and in some cases grandparents are still keeping those positions locked down.
