    ooooh ive been to many christmases but we never had it, must be an italo-amerikkkan thing, like all our weird stuff that gets exported abroad

    edit: maybe it exists over here but its dying down as a tradition, bcs im young n i never heard of it

      comes from southern italy afaik…and many “italian americans” have Neapolitan and sicilian roots.
