Libre Office .rtf files, one file per chapter, one book/serial per folder (short stories have a shared folder).
But I’m also publishing as a serial, so a copy of my chapters exists, in order, on Royal Road, and on Patreon. And when I finish revising my first volume, I will get an ePub copy from Royal Road and make sure that is backed up.
