    The biggest thing going for Linux is customizable overhead. That’s just not something you get with Windows and it’s obscene bloat. And Windows really only has the advantage of being the platform the game was specifically designed for. With Steam and Proton I’ve got games on my Steam account that just simply refuse to run on Windows 11 but are perfect on Steam Deck. Fallout 4 is notorious for out of the box issues on Windows and it’s just as smooth as butter on Steam Deck for me.
