I hope their own community critiques this and holds themselves to a higher standard because this “Communists just as bad as Nazis” talking point doesn’t help anyone on the left. I know in my country, most real-life anarchists are anarcho-communists (and they are decent to talk to IRL about Marxism), so this online kiddie shit sucks.
I seriously hope. In Poland there were some based anarchists long ago, but for few years there are mostly larpers and squatters variety. And both are as anticommunist as average PiS fan. Maybe even more because 90% of arguments for PiS i heard in the real world are praising not the PiS neoliberalism (the real thing) but the PiS populism (the fig leaf over the neoliberalism, but all other parties including succdems don’t even have this fig leaf).
I mean Im basically begging people to make the case so we can examine it. I’m not afraid of conversations about genocide, just don’t bring up Adrian Zenz haphazardly and expect everyone to take it seriously.
The capitalist world adapts quickly. It knows about our sensibilities about human rights and so on, it created them. It can use them against us too. This should be the first thought in our minds.
But this does not mean I think its impossible genocide might be occurring. All I ask is people accept that when they try to make their case they acknowledge the idiosyncrasies of the discourse around genocide, but it doesn’t play out that way.
Why is it taboo to talk about genocide in North America, but immediately assumed in the USSR or PRC? Politics is not easy and it’s more than cherry picking ideologies or morals.
Edit: I mean seriously, most people that take up these issues stand on genocide. Every breath, every step, every dollar I make, every meal, every drink, every idea I have, all of it is facilitated by genocide and it goes for all Americans and Canadians and beyond. But we gotta talk about the strategic enemies of the US instead of our own fucking lives and homes.

And to put it into perspective, that still makes his army as one of the least antisemitic forces in the civil war (excluding bolsheviks od course). For example when Poles fought with Ukrainians in western Ukraine basically whomever won celebrated victory by doing pogrom.
