Near China? So maybe Chinese or neighbouring countries are doing totally routine boring weather research. Or US media wants to distract from the Munich Security Conference and more train derailments.

What happened with the Munich Security Conference, sorry i’ve been outta the loop lately.
A bunch of predictable talk of escalation at the conference itself, and big anti-war protests in the city which were played off by media as far-right and pro-Russia. Of course the small pro-Ukraine demonstrations got nothing but glowing praise in the same media.
