The United States has overreacted by frequently using advanced missiles to shoot down unidentified flying objects, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin at a press briefing in Beijing on Monday.
Wang made the remarks in response to a question about U.S. military fighter jets shooting down a flying object over Lake Huron on Sunday, the fourth one shot down by a U.S. missile after a Chinese civilian unmanned airship accidentally entered U.S. airspace due to force majeure a little more than a week ago.
I understand the humor in your comment, but I’m 99 percent sure that an advanced post-scarcity alien civilization would be prepared for that outcome, and would have countermeasures and advanced tech to shrug it off.
