In the EU this practices of large compaies are already limited, way more as in the USA. But also with this there are a lot of work for the EU govs to cut down this methodes, too much burocracy, old leaders and slow courts. Its good that the devs, at least from Vivaldi, they are very careful to avoid the worst, which until now they have done wonderfully by blocking all of these dirty Google tricks, they are very good at this.

And? Don’t confuse Chromium with a Google trick, it is only one if it is used as is, which no one does. Chromium is 100% FOSS and therefore can be gutted to anyone’s liking, which Vivaldi certainly does. In its eight years of existence, Google has tried to introduce things to control it, and until today it has always found its teeth in an edge in Vivaldi and also in others. This is why it is now trying to gain control through its huge mount of web services, such as YT, and pages that use its APIs. This is where Google has influence and this affects everyone, regardless of the browser they use, be it Chromium, Gecko or WebKit. This is the real danger, not others.
