Although the process of stealing the oil began before the US and Iran started indirect negotiations to revive the nuclear deal in April, it is certainly a provocative move that sends a bad signal to Tehran. It also shows a continuation of Trump-era policies, as the Trump administration’s Department of Justice stole several shipments of Iranian gasoline that was headed for Venezuela.

The US regime has had bad relations with Iran since the Iranian people overthrew the shah, a US puppet, in the Iranian revolution in 1979, but the modern trade war and embargo against Iran began in 1995 under a democratic president, Clinton. US imperialism is a bipartisan policy.

Also, the US killed a million innocent people in Iraq, and dropped an average of 60 bombs per day on several countries in the ME and Africa during the Obama regime. Authoritarianism is a misnomer that makes it seem as though multi party bourgeois democracies ( IE capitalist dictatorships ) aren’t capable of the worst atrocities imaginable.
