That’s a pretty big accusation to make in passing, especially when Linux is just a kernel that’s used in all sorts of applications. A Linux based operating system just does its job. Is my hammer an agent of propaganda too? I could go into all of the things Linux OS’s don’t have, but I won’t.
To me, it’s an excess of pessimism. The article smacks of the Anarchist tendency toward defeatism: everything is bad, anything you do will be subverted, the enemy’s cleverness is overestimated.
