We all know the hypocrisies of the pro- Israel stances, I’m not going into specific arguments but it’s just everywhere. Normal people seem to have bought in even quicker than they did with supporting Ukraine. it’s awful. Free Palestine.

Well the way liberals view Ukraine is not factual. Ukraine was couped with the assistance of neo nazis and the US in 2014. What Israel is doing to Palestine, is what Ukraine wants to do to the eastern regions of their country. Zelenskyy even said that Israel is a model for Ukraine to follow in a post war era.

So, if you look at the facts of the situation, it makes perfect sense why liberals can support both Ukraine and Israel, because while the ideas may seem in conflict ideologically, the ideology is factually incorrect, and there is no conflict in the reality of the situation. Thus the contradiction is solved.

The long-term defense project, once Israel was completed, was to create more Israels. There is this evolution of strategy from the intelligence sector of capitalism. You have to divorce foreign policy completely from domestic. That way citizens don’t feel like it affects them, even though we know it does. War and imperialism can then become a spectacle, and a cultural thing. Then you remove public oversight of foreign policy by hiding operations behind private companies and NGOs. That way you can raise money and move assets without direct oversight. Even better than a series of private companies carrying out the work of foreign policy would be an entire shadow economy. A whole country with its own GDP and its own government and its own culture that appears completely separate from the US. That country can then produce, consume, act, negotiate, etc on behalf of US interests while maintaining the appearance of independence.

Once you have that going then you just do that everywhere you want to be. Israel was positioned to challenge Russia and China. Russia isn’t a problem in the way that the USSR was. So now the goal is to get closer to China. Israel is the access to the middle-East and North Africa. Ukraine is the access to Eastern Europe. So the next move will be to increase South Korea’s position by playing on the exact same things we’ve seen so far. Then it’s on to Taiwan. Which will be one of the last stops before all-out direct confrontation with China.

All this is why liberals are on board. Democrats abandoned the anti-war left after Vietnam. 9/11 gave them an excuse to go full on warhawk. And now they’re all for intervention, policing, and war. There is no opposition to the capitalist project and that project includes building these FOB countries all over the world. To ultimately destroy the remnants of communism and finally end history.

Of course, they’ll likely destroy themselves before getting there and if they do get that, that’ll destroy them. Because you can’t end history.

They went from supporting Nazis to supporting Nazis. Not surprising at all, because they are Nazis.

Stop believing Liberal sugarcoating and spin, they are nazis who like nazis.

Man they applauded a SS veteran in parliament twice in a row after announcing who he was and that he fought russians in WW2. They have installed fascists into power in over a dozen countries throughout the world. They are Nazis.

It’s not a contradiction. Ukraine is a fascist nazi project. Israel is a fascist nazi project. The fascist nazis will always support both without hesitation. Following liberal Ideology around and taking it at face value is a foolish, idealist undertaking that will only leave you more confounded than when you started - use a materialist lens to describe what their empire does instead, and who’s interests are hurt or benefitted by actions.

you’re wondering about the “contradiction” of supporting both Ukraine and Israel. There isn’t one, and if you think there is you believe a false Liberal version of one or both of these conflicts. It’s perfectly understandable for reactionary imperialists to support reactionary imperialist projects of theirs that they have invested billions of dollars in.

I guess I just don’t believe Liberal “ideology” is genuine or coherent so I don’t really care about what they “say” but what they “do”. My point is following their points around and trying to make sense of them and put them together is the wrong way to approach this, because they are bad faith lying nazis who will say whatever they can to further their own imperialist interests. The things they say are lies, not contradictions.

Its not coherent, but it very much is genuine in most cases. Most of the contradictions in liberal beliefs aren’t immediately obvious enough to occur to people who don’t really have much of a vested interest in what they believe.

I don’t want to be ‘that guy’, but you really need to re-adjust your calibration on where you think things are. The only liberals I know who have any sensible response to this are the ones who have spent significant time in China, and therefore are wary of the media reporting on issues involving state enemies. Every other one is lock-step on this until I point out that they have no idea what they are talking about and zero idea of the history or implications of what is going on, and then they just huff at me.

Why not? Zelensky is doing it! Their support for Ukraine is based on white supremacy and western hegemony, and they whitewash it by pretending it’s because they support a smol bean resistance

I think more than anything it just shows that propaganda works. Most people don’t look deeply into things and so just go along with the popular narrative.
