I wonder whether this is really that true anymore. I’ve long suspected that the supposed concern by Arab governments for the Palestinian people was mostly sleight of hand to distract from their own corruption and exploitation. Now that relationships are thawing, a conflict between the Arab world and Israel seems unlikely. Even Iran seems to be more bark than bite, and its primary foes are elsewhere.
