You don’t need an invitation for this one, just create an account first, normally registration is open.

Then I w0uld recommend changing the flair for this and other similar trackers to Semi Private since a private tracker generally needs some proof of your ratio on other trackers and an invite to join.

I also recommend adding this web site to the side bar: https://opentrackers.org

          Hi, thanks for your comments.

Regarding the semi-private, I’m not sure.

For me Private means that you don’t have access to the database and you need an account to download. Usually this goes together with a ratio system. Sometimes the registrations are closed, sometimes open.

Public on the other hand means that you don’t need an account to access the database and download .torrent or magnet files.

It seems to me that public/private is appropriate. This one uses a ratio system for example.

What would semi-private mean to you? That you have to create an account but there is no ratio?

I don’t have an example of this that comes to mind… I don’t know if it’s common?

IM0 It’s pretty common, for example Torrent Leech is ALWAYS giving away invitations and the ratio system is kind of a joke since it has sooo many freeleeches, and also you don’t need a proof of your ratio on previous trackers as a lot of private trackers do in order for them to accept you as a member. Basically semi private trackers have a much bigger userbase, the criteria to join is a lot less stricter and they’re always having invitations or it only requires you to sign up to access the database without any proof of anything.

            But as y0u wish, it was 0nly a suggesti0n.

I specified in the community presentation what I meant by (private) or (public). Thanks for your comment. I think I’ll leave it as it is for now, it seems simpler. But if other people point this out we can discuss a better nomenclature.

Has a bonus points system also (seed time / volume).
