    Yeah I should’ve used a better term lol.

    I meant that I’ve only ever seen China try to de-escalate situations as non-violently as possible before using force. Also it tends to not get involved unless absolutely necessary. Unlike other countries, China doesn’t seem to jump the gun as swiftly.

    My knowledge of China is still quite limited but from what I do know, I just haven’t seen anything that makes it a threat. It’s military is intimidating and would be considered a threat if one were at war with China, I’m not denying China’s strength. It’s just that China isn’t actively threatening others at every opportunity. At least that’s what I’ve witnessed. Growing up I was never scared of China, it was always the US that seemed like the biggest threat (plus I’m Canadian so being neighbours dials that fear up even more).
