You guys drink any alcohol? Or none at all?
I drink a beer or two on the weekends most of the time and none during the week. Though there are some times where I dont drink for weeks on ends I do like it better for my overal mental health if I can go to the bar with my gf or friends every now and then.
I make sure that I haven’t worked out the day or two days before though.
What about you guys?
Alcohol at certain doses affects the muscle synthesis process, which essentially means less gains. However I’m not clear on the numbers themselves.
What I do is avoid drinking alcohol the days I went to the gym, but I don’t drink much in the first place and I don’t think one beer is going to do that much damage.
I remember I had a convo w a friend about this, one or two beers won’t make a noticeable difference, it’s more about like having several beers or if you have liquor which is way worse for muscle growth and your stomach than beer
