I don’t understand the purpose of that. I don’t wanna be negaty, I really don’t understand.
ensuring that users are never even directed to nonfree software or documentation. I think that I’ve never bought a piece of hardware that required a paid software.
Many firmware blobs contain proprietary code and need license fees. Most manufacturers do not declare them.
Are these all repurposed consumer products?
