it wasn’t very secure and it was a mess but it defined the childhoods of millions.

Honestly, I wish they’d open source the codebase. There’s a third party open source emulator called Ruffle, but I doubt it has 100% of the functionality of the original Flash player.

It’s not like they’re still making money from the codebase after it’s discontinued.
