I think we’ve been in a ruling class civil war for a while now. I don’t know how much longer until violence breaks out between the two major factions, but I think it will. Unless they’re able to rally together for a war or something. This is part of why I think the US wants a major war. Just as the north was economically eclipsing the south before the civil war started up, we’re seeing tech capitalists and “green” capitalists(often the same) taking on fossil fuel and classic forms of media. The tech bros aren’t just challenging on energy. They’re also taking over the propaganda outlets, and integrating themselves into Wall St. And the US is more and more treating computer chips as the new oil.
I dunno. I could be completely wrong, but that’s what I’ve been thinking about lately.
