I’ll have you know it’s perfectly unnatural when I invert my corporeal form to assimilate my terrified victims into the eldritch void where my soul used to be.

But in all seriousness, agreed. It’s not possible for something that’s part of nature to be unnatural. All behaviors are natural. Some behaviors pose a threat to the individual or society at large, and that’s the only case where any action should be considered, but only as a harm reduction strategy rather than punitive. An individual’s sexuality, gender identity, etc., definitely don’t qualify as dangerous.

It’s why they got demoted from family to simply relatives

Family is the relationship, relatives are blood

Family doesn’t treat me like they did

Finally getting away and being able to be me was bliss.

It was like stepping into the dawn and feeling the sun hit your face after a long cold night. The shivers that go through your body as the cold leaves your body.

The shaking breaths as the fresh air hits your lungs.

And the sadness for others still stuck in the darkness. Those afraid that the new day will be as dark as the old night. Those who are trapped still unable to breathe the air of freedom.

And for them I still dip into the shadows, so that I may show them the light. For without someone showing me the light I would have never gone through the pain to step out for myself.
