    I definitely think that parts of the economy that are dominated by independent freelancers are the easiest to turn into cooperatives, for the benefit of every party involved. And it needs to happen before some private company comes and does the same by exploiting everyone and taking the money.

    Another area that might be good for creating a cooperative would be the personal tutor market. Most personal tutors operate on an individual basis, while a cooperative could provide many advantages without the loss of freedom that becoming a private corporation owner’s wage slave entails.
