An informed voter’s vote must have a much higher weight compared to a non-informed one’s.

This line alone captures just how little thought went into this article… Who decides what characterizes an informed voter? I am sure that Fox News thinks their viewers are more informed than CNN’s, and vice-versa.

The “madness of crowds” is an inherent problem of democracy with no viable solution. The only way around it is to break up governments so that they can’t do any harm on a large scale.

So basically whoever has FB account should not be allowed to vote… Would it not be easier to ban all political PR from FB and alike, or limit budget of candidate to same small amount of money so they can’t afford to buy the PR? Dunno, but the problem feels real.
