I’ll give you a few movies I like in my collection. If you have any movie suggestions I’d love to have. They can be on topic, or just movies you really like and want to share.

Night Mother – I watched this one last night. Really liked it. It’s based off of the Kurt Vonnegut book of the same name.

JFK Revisited Through the Looking Glass – It’s an Oliver Stone work. I recommend anything by him.

El Salvador – Oliver Stone, dramatic telling of the war in El Salvador. An absolute must see.

The Young Karl Marx – A great film by a great director, Raoul Peck.

Snowden – More Oliver Stone, a decent dramatization of the affair.

Baader Meinof Complex – This one is about certain events in West Germany.

Come and See – Famous Russian movie about the war.

Priest (1994) – Film by Antonia Bird. It’s a touchy movie so probably look into why it’s touchy if you have problems watching certain material. She’s an excellent director. She also did Ravenous (1999) which is a fun sort of genre bending movie. This movie isn’t really on topic but it’s a great movie. Why I’m including it is because of it’s strong working class aesthetic. I think that it’s topic matter of religion and abuse are done in a class conscious way. I think Antonia Bird adds a lot of value through her works, and she’s a director you should be familiar with.

Heaven and Earth (1993) – Another Oliver Stone movie. It’s about the Vietnam War. Probably better than Platoon in some ways. It’s about a Vietnamese woman living through the war. She meets and American man and moves to America where’s she treated as less than and other. It goes into his crimes against humanity. The war expresses itself through their dynamic. Platoon is the movie Oliver Stone is known for. It’s a great movie. You should watch it if you haven’t. Heaven and Earth isn’t that well known, but it’s the better movie in my opinion. His power as a director really hits hard in this one and in El Salvador.

Ukraine on Fire. – Oliver fucking Stone… It’s on Rumble. You don’t even have to torrent it.

United States of Insanity – It’s a movie about the Insane Clown Posse and the FBI’s targeted harassment of their fan base. I think this movie is more than it let’s on. Their fan base is extremely proletarian. Their solidarity as a group is essentially tied to their shared proletarian nature. Their solidarity represents a kind of organic class solidarity. They were attacked and demonized because of that class quality. I think this is incredibly important to understand and appreciate.

These are all great movies you would do well to watch. If you have a PC and believe in the open availability of information, I feel these are the kinds of movies that deserve to be preserved and made available.
