Plus in terms of advertising, when early Youtube that just wanted to maximize watch time, its algorithm found Minecraft videos to be so successful that the engineers of it at the time had to manually hobble Minecraft videos to make their platform more appealing to the average person, instead of trying out Youtube and just finding Minecraft videos.
